Injuries can and do occur from hitting the springs and or frame of a trampoline. You can reduce the risk of injury by making sure that your trampoline has a good thick frame pad covering the entire frame and springs and having it properly attached to your trampoline. 

Don't assume that all pads are the same, they're not! Think about it. If someone were going to hit you with with a piece of heavy gauge steel tubing, like a trampoline top rail is made of, would you want it to be covered in a nice thick, dense closed cell foam pad? Or, would you prefer a thin piece of foam rubber around that same piece of tubing? I know, you're thinking you had really rather be hit with just the piece of foam padding by itself, but that's not an option when your kids land on the trampoline frame! For added protection we highly recommend the use of a Trampoline Enclosure to prevent jumpers from being able to bounce off the unit.

How to Measure for Frame Pads:

This requires two adults to obtain proper measurements.

ROUND TRAMPOLINES
Your frame must be assembled!

1. WITH A MEASURING TAPE, MEASURE THE FULL LENGTH (DIAMETER) OF YOUR TRAMPOLINE, MEASURE ACROSS THE MIDDLE, FROM OUTSIDE TO OUTSIDE OF THE FRAME. NOTE THE EXACT INCHES. (The measurement of one leg post to the opposite leg post will help insure you are measuring across the middle of the trampoline.) THIS IS A 12 O'CLOCK TO A 6 O'CLOCK MEASUREMENT.

2. MEASURE AGAIN ACROSS THE MIDDLE, THE DIAMETER OF THE FRAME, BUT WITH A 9 O'CLOCK TO A 3 O'CLOCK MEASUREMENT. NOTE THE EXACT INCHES. (Do not round off or convert to feet and inches.) Refer to ordering chart below.

For Octagon frames measure from outside point to point of frame.

Remember: Measure twice....order once!!
 

Please Note: When installing frame pads, make sure frame pad skirt does not get trapped between enclosure poles and the trampoline frame. If skirt is caught between enclosure pole and frame, it will rip the pad skirt.  Frame pads will not be warranted if this occurs.

Comments: I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how happy I am with the quality and efficiency of the order I placed for a 14' trampoline pad. I had ordered a replacement pad about 1 1/2 yrs. ago from Jump King and it didn't even cover the metal springs, and each time the wind would blow I would have to resecure it back down. Rectangle & Square Frame Pads Our trampoline frame pad selection includes rectangle trampoline  frame pads for most rectangle frame trampolines. Rectangle Frame Pad Specs: 14 Oz. Vinyl 1" Thick High Density Polyethylene foam. 12"- 18" Wide depending on model.(see chart below) The short frame pads for the shorter ends of the trampoline have 5 straps to secure to the frame. The long frame pads for the long sides of the trampoline have 4 straps to secure to the frame and 2 wind straps to attach to the springs.  HOW TO MEASURE A RECTANGLE TRAMPOLINE to determine frame pad size. Frame must be assembled!  This requires two adults to obtain proper measurements. Some rectangle trampolines have a support brace, a hand hold that extends out past the frame. Trampoline frame pads do not rest on this. Do not include this brace in your measurements but do mention that your trampoline does have it. 1. USE A MEASURING TAPE THAT REACHES THE FULL LENGTH OF YOUR TRAMPOLINE, 2. MEASURE ACROSS THE MIDDLE OF THE SHORT SIDE, FROM OUTSIDE TO OUTSIDE OF THE FRAME. NOTE THE EXACT INCHES. (Do not round off or convert to feet and inches.) 2. MEASURE AGAIN ACROSS THE MIDDLE OF THE LONG SIDE. NOTE THE EXACT INCHES. (Do not round off or convert to feet and inches.) 3. MEASURE THE DISTANCE FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE FRAME (where the outside of the pad will be) TO THE EDGE OF THE JUMPING MAT. This will determine your width. Most of our pads are 12" wide. If you desire a wider pad, please let us know. a. Measure this at both the long side and the short side. 4. OPTIONS: Some pads do not extend into the corners....if you want to confirm that yours covers the corner, please contact us. 5. FOLLOWING ARE SOME VERY HELPFUL HINTS FOR US TO DETERMINE MORE ACCURATELY YOUR TRAMPOLINE FRAME. a. The spring count on the short and long side....the total springs. b. The description of  your spring, color, length of spring when off of the trampoline and fully recoiled. c. The jumping surface, trampoline mat...is it black, what is the mat fabric made of, does it have grommets, triangles, etc...where the springs hook. FIVE FREE TIPS

TO MAKE YOUR TRAMPOLINE PADS LAST LONGER

1.) Don’t Let the Kids sit/stand or play with the frame pads. The pad is a preventive in case the kids land too close to the frame.

2.) Don’t use any chemicals to clean your frame pads.

3.) Don’t tie your pads too tight. If strong winds come it can pull up the pads and therefore pull out the straps if tied too tightly.

4.) If you have an enclosure, lift up the skirt where the poles are or cut out the skirt area at the pole. If the pole lays against the skirt there will be too much strain on the pads and can cause the skirt seams to rip.

5.) Keep all animals away from the trampoline. Something about dogs and pads they are very appealing (our # 1 Complaint ). My dog ate my pads!!

• Frame Pads: Free from defect for 6 months.
• Our BEST Heavy Duty frame pads: 1 (one) year.
• Springs: 2 Years
• Bed Stitching: 2 Years (Note: This applies only to the outer edge of  stitching that attaches the rings to the bed.)
• Bed: Prorated against manufacturer's defects for 5 years as follows:
• 100% for the First Year. 50% for the Second Year. 35% for the Third Year. 20% for the Fourth Year. 10% for the Fifth Year from the date of purchase.(Note: This five-year prorated warranty applies only to the jumping surface. It does not cover the stitching on the outer edge.)
• All other items: 90 days from date of purchase.

This warranty does not cover equipment that has been tampered with, subjected to negligent use, accidents, other damages, misuse or abuse, including such things as tears and rips, burns, cuts, snags, and scrapes.  Equipment or parts must be sent to us prepaid for our examination.
